About us

Our Story

Becoming self-employed in gastronomy is a “no go” for anyone who doesn’t have a passion for gastronomy. This heart has been beating with us for a long time and so an idea grew over the years that had to be implemented. The naming turned out to be much easier than finding suitable rooms. Our daughter Shirley immediately agreed to be the namesake. The suitable premises took longer, much longer, and after finding them, it took even longer until the permits were granted. In the meantime, we killed the time with conversions. With great attention to detail, we converted the former premises of a butcher’s shop without losing the existing charm of the rooms. A project with ups, downs, magic, pride and everything that goes with it.

In January 2019 the time had come.
Since then, the beating heart for gastronomy and the growing idea has been passionately lived in our premises every day.
